Jacob grew up in Tigard, Oregon and is back home after his second year at the University of Chicago. Jacob is working towards a BA in Environmental and Urban Studies with a minor in Architectural Studies and is especially interested in the relationship between human behavior and the built environment.
Some of Jacob’s favorite places in Oregon include Tryon Creek State Park, White River Falls State Park, and Twin Rocks. On any weekend in Chicago, you are most likely to catch Jacob at the Art Institute or Promontory Point.
When Jacob isn’t busy with school or work, he dedicates his time to playing, recording, and performing music. His projects cover everything from flamenco to bluegrass to prog rock and draw inspiration from around the world, including Oregon’s extraordinary forests, deserts, and coasts.
