Christine Rontal

Christine has participated in her community for over 20 years through nonprofit administration and organizational development in West Africa, New York, Alaska, Peru, and Oregon. She has a MSW in Social Enterprise Administration from Columbia University and a BS in Parks and Recreation from Clemson University. Christine enjoys spending time with her family, playing and seeing live music, hiking, skiing, gardening, cooking, landscape photography, and volunteering at her kids' schools and for social justice initiatives.

1000 Friends of Oregon is a top priority in Christine's life because it gives her the opportunity to explore the intersections of rural land conservation, urban development, and social justice while contributing her nonprofit-based skill sets to the organization.
