Devin Kesner

Working Lands Engagement Coordinator

Devin is an environmental advocate and aspiring farmer seeking to protect our wild and cultivated lands from unsustainable development. She previously worked with 1000 Friends as a Working Lands Associate Staff Attorney on land use advocacy and litigation. As Working Lands Engagement Coordinator, she worked to broaden and elevate voices advocating for farm and forest protections.

She is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Law and has previously focused on climate and energy law in Oregon. She served as a Staff Attorney with Our Children’s Trust, contributing to state and federal litigation aiming to hold government entities accountable for climate change. She then participated in the founding of the climate justice organization Breach Collective, where she discovered the power of land use law as an advocacy tool for a sustainable future. She is a graduate of Rogue Farm Corps’ farmer training program and loves spending time in the fields as much as she loves working to protect them.
