This includes our affiliate organizations, board members, committee members, and other people in our advocacy network.
Filling out and submitting a form on this website constitutes lawful consent for 1000 Friends of Oregon to store your name, contact information, and other submitted data on our database. You may opt out of mass marketing communications at any time.
We will also honor any requests for your data to be erased from our database, to the extent allowable. We may need to retain specific donor information for legal purposes or to continue existing recurring donations. You can request deletion of your data by emailing us at info@friends.org.
This policy applies to all information received by 1000 Friends of Oregon, both online and offline, on any Platform ("Platform" includes 1000 Friends of Oregon’s websites, social media pages, and related fundraising apps), as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.

To the extent any donations are securely processed through a third-party service provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation.
Additionally, all donors have the option of requesting complete anonymity within 1000 Friends of Oregon and may request to be removed from any of our mailing lists at any time.
Our ask to affiliates, board members, and others in our network
Board and committee members of 1000 Friends of Oregon may acquire and have access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to 1000 Friends of Oregon or our business partners, donors, or other third parties who have entrusted their information to 1000 Friends of Oregon. This confidentiality requirement includes all information related to litigation and all legal matters in which 1000 Friends of Oregon is involved. It is the policy of 1000 Friends of Oregon that board and committee members of 1000 Friends of Oregon will not disclose confidential information belonging to, or obtained through their affiliation with, 1000 Friends of Oregon to any person, including their relatives, friends, and business and professional associates, unless 1000 Friends of Oregon has authorized disclosure. This policy is not intended to prevent disclosure where disclosure is required by law.
To the extent that affiliates and other advocates in our network participate in personal electronic, written, or oral communications with our supporters, we require them to join us in protecting supporter data and only use that information for its intended personal communication purpose. They should not share, store, or sell any contact information they may incidentally receive as a result of their relationship with 1000 Friends of Oregon.
