Join 1000 Friends of Oregon's Cassie Wilson (panelist) and other advocates for several discussions about supporting Oregonians through all stages of life.

From AARP, the event organizer:

"The 2025 Age-Friendly Oregon Summit brings together policy makers, advocates for older adults and people with disabilities, livability and intergenerational advocates, as well as diverse Oregonians interested in making Oregon a great place for people of all ages and abilities. Summit goals are to:

  • Grow, strengthen, and celebrate Age-Friendly communities
  • Foster greater understanding of and accelerate adoption of age-friendly practices and policies

The summit will provide opportunity for participants to:

  • Learn about progress being made in Portland and around the state in making our communities great places to live and age well
  • Discover and explore new ideas, promising practices, and policies in housing, health, economic security, civic and social participation, equity, intergenerational connections, and other critical age-friendly domains
  • Connect with and be inspired by fellow Oregonians, advocates and thought leaders who are driving community change"
