Legal Apprentice
Robb is working part-time on a variety of legal projects while apprenticing with 1000 Friends of Oregon to earn his Oregon law license. He earned both his juris doctor and master of urban and environmental planning degree at the University of Virginia. Robb currently works full-time in a community service officer role at the Portland Police Bureau, where he has dedicated much of his energy to alleviating bike theft.
As an environmental advocate and former Portland city planner, Robb has tremendous interest and respect for wisely planned development that minimizes natural-resource impacts. He was selected as 1000 Friends’ 2001 Paul Gerhardt Jr. Intern. Robb is excited to return to 1000 Friends to dedicate his energy supporting Oregon’s innovative land use system. He says the quality that most inspires him to live and work in Oregon is its creativity and willingness to take chances while pioneering unique systems and solutions to address complex issues.
Robb is Portland’s two-time bacon-eating champion but has since retired from amateur competitive eating. Currently, he likes to spend his free time making ice cream, traveling the world, and trying to understand/relate to his teenage daughter (please message him if you have any suggestions).
