Albert R. Roberson, LL.M., serves as the assistant vice president for equity and compliance, Title IX coordinator, and ADA/504 officer at Portland State University, where he leads efforts to ensure institutional accountability, civil rights compliance, and equitable access across the university community. He holds a master of laws degree with a focus on governance and policy and has built a career advancing fairness in education, employment, and community planning.

Albert’s connection to land use and community development stems from a deep belief that equitable access to housing, transportation, and green space are essential to social justice. 1000 Friends of Oregon is a top priority in his life because he believes sustainable land use is inseparable from equity; it’s about ensuring every Oregonian, regardless of background, has a place to live, work, and belong.

Outside of his professional work, Albert enjoys exploring Oregon’s coastal towns, architecture, and local markets with his family.
