More information

Set up an appointment for your own personal plant shopping experience at the 1000 Friends of Oregon office! We have hydrangeas (pictured), three types of Japanese maple, an apple tree, several Queen Elizabeth rose bushes (which will produce lovely pink flowers), a lovely riverside birch tree, and a number of great evergreen shrubs. All plants are steeply discounted because they’re direct from local growers.

Each sale benefits our partners at Cottrell CPO in east Multnomah County. For a decade now, they have been fighting against the Bull Run Water Filtration Plant, and they have been fighting for farmland protection, for the safety of their communities amid dynamite blasting and myriad other impacts, and for fair and transparent processes from Portland Water Bureau.

We encourage you to check out our Together for an Affordable Portland campaign that was built in solidarity with the communities of Cottrell and Pleasant Home, and in solidarity with urban communities experiencing rapid water rate increases due to this “unruly mega-project.” Together, we can create a future that meets all community members’ needs.

Thank you for your support!
