Join our partner, Cottrell CPO, for their annual Memorial Day weekend tree, shrub, and plant sale fundraiser. 1000 Friends of Oregon will also be there for the first half of the day, sharing about our campaign, Together for an Affordable Portland. In spite of the name, the campaign is directly relevant to the community of Sandy because their water rates will be increased due to the Bull Run Water Filtration Plant. The TAP campaign is also rooted in support for the rural, unincorporated communities of Cottrell and Pleasant Home as they face outsized impacts due to the construction of the Bull Run Water Treatment Facility.
