1000 Friends of Oregon is proud to participate in Happylucky’s Portland Pride Block Party for the second year in a row! This year, our booth will have an oasis theme, featuring misters to cool down in the summer heat, a veritable forest of locally-grown trees, shrubs, and other plants (all sales support our partners and friends at Cottrell CPO), and the opportunity to relax in the shade while talking about ways to advocate for positive change for communities across Oregon. This photo is just a small sampling of what will be available!
As part of the festivities, Happylucky is hosting CERTIFIED FREAK, featuring live performances, music, art, and dancing. We’re excited to be one of the many organizations helping make this celebration welcoming and memorable for all who attend.
At 1000 Friends, we believe thriving communities are built when everyone has the opportunity to belong and contribute. Supporting our LGBTQIA+ neighbors aligns with our vision of creating equitable, resilient, and welcoming places across Oregon—from urban neighborhoods to small towns and rural communities.
