Celebrate what makes Oregon special: Support 1000 Friends through Give!Guide
Every fall, Oregon’s nonprofit community comes together for Willamette Week’s Give!Guide, Portland’s end-of-year giving campaign that makes it easy and fun to support the causes you care about.
This year, your gift to 1000 Friends of Oregon goes even further thanks to local partners who share our love for our state’s farms, forests, and neighborhoods. Plus, there’s a ton of ways to get rewarded for your support.
Local perks for giving locally
All donors to the 1000 Friends of Oregon Give!Guide campaign will receive a free 12 oz drip coffee or tea from our friends at Parkrose Coffee Shop, a community café rooted in local farms and the land that feeds us; a free first class to Barry’s Gym; a handwritten thank you note; and a custom 1000 Friends sticker. Donors over $100 receive a custom tote!
Additionally, 1000 Friends donors will enjoy exclusive incentives from our local partners, including:
- A one-night stay and unlimited thermal springs access for two at CASCADA Thermal Springs + Hotel in NE Portland. The first week of November, all donors to 1000 Friends over $50 will be entered to win.
- A CSA subscription for fresh veggies from Stoneboat Farms for the 2026 season.
- A package to kick off the new year at Barry’s Gym in Portland. On December 27, donors to 1000 Friends over $25 will be entered to win.
- Three chances to win a 3-month yoga membership to Modo Yoga in SE Portland. On December 29, the first three donors to 1000 Friends over $75 will win one of three of these memberships.
- And more exciting local giveaways!
Note: Alternate entry for the first three incentives available by completing a survey and submitting a favorite Oregon landscape photo.
Plus, Give!Guide will keep the fun going with bonus prize opportunities like a coffee subscription from Nossa Familia (on November 1), a $500 gift card to New Seasons Market (on December 17), and an e-bike from Splendid Cycles (on December 29)—as well as special drawings for donors 35 and under. Finally, 1000 Friends donors over $100 will receive a custom Oregon soil map tote bag!

In addition to these great incentives, all donations to 1000 Friends of Oregon will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000, thanks to an incredibly generous donation from one of our supporters.
