Staff Attorney
As staff attorney, Eve Goldman supports 1000 Friends of Oregon’s mission to promote livable urban and rural spaces while preserving Oregon’s farms, forests, and natural resources by enforcing Oregon’s land use laws.
Growing up exploring the Oregon outdoors, Eve had an early passion for the environment that led her to Lewis & Clark Law School, where she earned her J.D. with a certificate in environmental and natural resources law. During law school, Eve interned with several public-interest environmental-law organizations, including the Center for Biological Diversity and the Sierra Club. Eve also clerked at Earthrise Law Center, where she helped develop Endangered Species Act claims addressing negative impacts to native salmon and steelhead species that resulted from FEMA’s failure to consult with the National Marine Fisheries Service in its implementation of the National Flood Insurance Program in Oregon.
After law school, Eve served as staff attorney for Tualatin Riverkeepers, where she engaged primarily in state and local land use processes as well as water-quality issues to advocate for the health of the Tualatin River watershed.
Eve spends as much time outside as she can, whether running in Forest Park, skiing at Mt. Hood, or biking and hiking all over Oregon. She also enjoys knitting, reading, and singing in monthly music nights with friends.
